Description
In the year 1990, in a private residence in Boston, Massachusetts, a history professor discovered a manuscript in a secret compartment at the bottom of a wooden box. The document was written in 1877 in Kirkaldy, Scotland. The author, Jonash Jemson, is silent no more.
Victor Cameron, a young lad of eleven, hiked the North wood. Sebastian Chiffon, a clothier by trade, traveled by wagon and headed home after a month-long business trip.
Victor wanted to discover. Sebastian wanted to be left alone. But for simple choices, their paths would never have crossed.
Victor discovered more than he ever imagined possible. Sebastian, on the other hand, regretted those ever-intrusive tentacles of fate.
Of the two, it could be argued that Sebastian Chiffon is to be envied.
On an ordinary day, in an ordinary place, two ordinary people confronted what was not. The outcome was extraordinary.
